Kung Fu is a generic name given to Chinese Martial Arts. Another name used is Wushu. Chinese Martial arts have a rich history and have been practiced for a very long time. There are many different styles of Chinese Martial arts and they are broadly divided into the hard or external styles and the soft or internal styles. We teach Hung Gar which is one of the external styles and in particular the five animal form comprising the tiger, crane, dragon, leopard and snake. At the black belt level the seven animal form is taught incorporating two additional animals the cat and the eagle. The snake and tiger form is also taught at advanced levels. Other styles practiced by senior black belt members include the forms Tiger Crane, Snake, Eagle, White Eyebrow, Buda, Praying Mantis etc.
